Fighting in low light is not a new concept in the world of combat and deadly force encounters. Yet training programs and initiatives constantly fail or are not able to address the challenges of fighting in the dark. CMCT's Low Light Combat teaches low light and no light response through the understanding of physiology in the dark, employment of low light equipment, and real world vetted tactics for surviving the night. If you've every carried a gun and didn't carry a light as well, this class will open up your eyes statistically and practically to the limitations of fighting with limited visibility.
Physiology the human body and reaction to light
Gear selection and employment
Lighting techniques (personal/team)
Differential lighting's effect on target perception
Weapons manipulation with lights
Tactical considerations under low light (cover usage, movement, concealment)
