*** DATE: SATURDAY/SUNDAY JULY 23-24, 2016
This 2-day (20 hour course) is designed to teach the long range shooter the basic fundamentals of the following skill sets, as they pertain to the .308:
Safety, care & cleaning, nomenclature etc.
Rifle ballistics (specifically the 7.62x51)
Using Mil-based reticles for range estimation
Wind & weather formulas
Fundamentals of marksmanship
Rapid bolt manipulation/hasty deployments
Hold over/under shots
Students can expect 4-5 hours of classroom on day 1, with 9+ hours of shooting on day 2. Each student will need a minimum of 350 match grade .308rounds. While Bolt-action and semi-automatic are permitted, the course is restricted to 308 Win only. Each weapon must have a sling, sturdy bi-pod and qualityoptics. Other gear considerations are: binoculars, ear protection, comfort items, lunch & water, cleaning kit and ruck sack to carry everything.
Everything you bring with you will be carried in your ruck sack for the duration of the school.

Note: This class will not cover tactics, only firearms manipulations. It will be open to all military, law enforcement as well as qualified civilians. Qualifications will be determined by CMCT staff.
*** PLEASE NOTE ***
Due to registration issues in the past, all students wishing to register will need to send full payment of class tuition at time of registration. One week prior to the class (July 16th), the call will be made if the class has enough participants to proceed. If the class does not have enough students registered, then all payments will be voided or returned.
